- 1 head of Cauliflower
- 1/8-1/4olive oil, I tend to use more oil
- Lemon pepper
- Garlic salt
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven at 350° F (176.7° C).
Take the extra green leaves off the cauliflower.
Cut the cauliflower into two steaks, about a 1” to 1 ½” thick, season with plenty of olive oil, lemon pepper, garlic salt and salt and pepper.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Take out and increase temperature to 375° F (190.5° C).
While, let the two steaks cool slightly so you can wrap the 2 slices of bacon. When cooled about 5 minutes, wrap the bacon pieces crisscross across the cauliflower steaks.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Check the steaks, the bacon may need a little crispness, if so increase the oven to broil and broil for five minutes or until bacon is crisp.
I tend to broil the bacon at the end but it’s personal choice.
Take out and enjoy!!
