A wonderfully healthy and fun recipe that is perfect for all occasions including tailgating, football weekends or entertaining the masses!

Spicy Lime Chicken Wings

  • 3 lbs. of chicken wings
  • 2/3 cup cayenne pepper sauce
  •  ¼ cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • Zest of 2 limes
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup or raw honey
  • ¼ cup ghee or butter, melted
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper


Preheat your oven to 400°F (204.4°C). Season the chicken wings to taste with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Bake the wings for about 45 minutes until cooked through, turning them over once. In a bowl, combine the lime juice, lime zest, hot sauce, maple syrup, ghee, garlic and mix well. Remove the wings from the oven and transfer to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and stir to coat. Serve with fresh lime.
