Bacon Cauliflower Steaks

Yes we did it again. Every so often, we love having our bacon… just not every day. For that special occasion, our Bacon Wrapped Cauliflower Steaks will sure please the appetites for your family and friends.


Serves two


  • 1 head of Cauliflower
  • 1/8-1/4olive oil, I tend to use more oil
  • Lemon pepper
  • Garlic salt
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Preheat oven at 350° F (176.7° C).
Take the extra green leaves off the cauliflower.
Cut the cauliflower into two steaks, about a 1” to 1 ½” thick, season with plenty of olive oil, lemon pepper, garlic salt and salt and pepper.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Take out and increase temperature to 375° F (190.5° C).
While, let the two steaks cool slightly so you can wrap the 2 slices of bacon. When cooled about 5 minutes, wrap the bacon pieces crisscross across the cauliflower steaks.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Check the steaks, the bacon may need a little crispness, if so increase the oven to broil and broil for five minutes or until bacon is crisp.
I tend to broil the bacon at the end but it’s personal choice.
Take out and enjoy!!
